Really? Is Potter paying you to write this?
Jon may or may not have a logbook but he really went to Ireland with perhaps five BASE jumps. You know he admittedly to having a hundred back in November? That is impressive considering he did his first Static Line in June.
Ask him about his last US jump just before the trip. PM me for the story.
Jon has asked for advice on this site but unfortunately spew his endless web of lies in the process. He has lied to every DZ and BASE jumper he has encountered and you are no different. This is the type of person who lied on a BASE application just to get a number. He is “self-taught” because nobody wants anything to do with the lying talentless hack. He is also too stupid, arrogant and lazy to take a FJC.
I wish no harm to come to any person but his brain is wired wrong and he is headed down a bad path. I am tired of talking about this ahole
I understand you have a personal vendetta against me, and rightfully so. I don't know what you want from me, but it seems like you want to burn me at the stake, so here it is.
I am sorry for my lies. I did not have any ill will with them. I honestly don't know what I was thinking. Part of me wanted to fit in with the base community which I idolized. I guess I thought getting a base number was the way to do so, and I would stop at nothing to get that. I truly am sorry that my lies hurt you on a personal level, which it appears they have. And I am sorry to the base community for taking advantage of the honor system that is in place for getting a number. I know my credibility is gone, which I am ok with. I did lie about doing certain jumps to try to get the number, and I did tell people I had 100 base jumps in order to seem more experienced than I was. Again, I did not feel this was a big deal, and I was wrong. In terms of lying about skydiving experience in order to wingsuit, I was never asked. I did not outright lie to the DZO like you are saying. I showed up, jumped the wingsuit, and that was it. But maybe it's all the same.
I did not pay Damien to say any of this, but I am grateful he did, and even moreso am grateful of his and the other local's help and hospitality they have shown during my stay, as well as giving me the chance to prove I am not a complete asshole. I hope someday other jumpers may follow suit, as even despite the bad press (whether some of it true and some not) I don't think I am that bad of guy.
Lastly, although I deserve much of your criticism and hatred, I find it funny, Randy, that you think you know my number of jumps, almost as if you watch me 24/7. Also, there is no need to dangle any story above my head like I am trying to hide it. I simply ask that you get the facts straight, as you weren't there, no matter how much you are trying to pretend you were.
