I wanted to let this community know that there is an opportunity to ask pres obama a question. The time is running out though. I posted a question and a video.

I think we as a community needs to back this question. At the very least to let President Obama (no matter how much I dislike the guy) know that there are discriminatory policies practiced by the NPS toward BASE jumpers. We may not be able to change anything very fast but the more people are informed the more likely they are to side with us.

Out of almost 150 views of this thread... there are only 5 likes on my question to the president... and I don't see any other BASE related questions that have been created... I know some of you guys have youtube accounts.

Just goes to show you how much BASE jumpers actually care about their sport... keep hiding in the shadows, keep running from NPS, and keep being thought of as criminals... Its fine with me I like burning objects to the ground, its how I roll. If you guys cant do something as simple as click a link, type in a search, and then click "like". . . I don't know why you all complain all the time about BASE jumpers being treated unfair.

Let's be real here. This is Obongo we are are talking about. We need a black BASE jumper with an ivy league degree to get hassled by a white NPS ranger and claim to the media that the ranger was being racist.

To really make it work the black BASE jumper could have some illegal aliens hauling his gear.

No doubt we could fit a gay who got kicked out of the military under "don't ask don't tell" into the equation, but I'm not quite sure how.
