Books?
Been awhile since I posted still creeping on here all the time though. ;)
I have read "Base 66" and "Confessions of an Idiot". I am now starting my first technical book "The Great Book of Base". I was wondering if there are any more(technical or more story-based) books out there? I also read the articles on here from time to time. I am about a month from starting my "A" license program so I am probably gonna start focusing on skydiving technical books and creeping on DZ.com more. Also are there any good skydiving books that you find helpful such as books on accuracy and CRW work? I am not trying to relate the two sports but maybe a book that helped ease the transition a bit when I decide to I am comfortable making it?

Re: [Rezo] Books?
"Inside the Sky" - William Langewiesche

"The Last Gentleman Adventurer" - Edward Beauclerk Maurice

the second should be mandatory for anyone considering Baffin Island..

Re: [Rezo] Books?
Thank you all for your responses. I downloaded to FAA rigger's manual and the other books are in my amazon shopping cart. :)

I am unfortunately short on money so I won't be able to buy Mein Kempf or War and Peace. Venus im Pelz and Venus in Furs on the other hand look to be the most promising of the books suggested here.

Re: [Rezo] Books?
I hate the book Venus in Furs. The author is Masoch, the originator of the formal term masochism.

460, Thanks I may take that book off my list then and replace it with mein kempf although I am skeptical of how the emo diary of an Austrian man who couldn't get into art school will help me.

Thrillstalker, I have to crawl before I walk and I hope very much to continue skydiving! Looks like a great book. :)

Grubber, they both look amazing books definitely going in the basket.

Glad to see there is more material out there than I could find. Looks like this summer is going to be full of fun and learning. :)

Re: [Rezo] Books?
I have found Brian Germain's 'The Parachute and its Pilot' very useful at various points in my skydiving progression - you may too

Its still a few months away, but together with my teammate Costyn I have been working on a wingsuit book for a while now, sort of similar to the Flight Manual videos we have been posting on our website. Hopefully some more info on that one in a month or twoCool
