Heading corrections
Do you go for rears or toggels? Or both depending on the situation? Which one do you do and why? Thanx!

Re: [freeflyJoe] Heading corrections
Depends

Risers (rear) if object strike is imminent or I'm alot closer to the object than you'd normally be. Slows forward speed vs toggle turn but it BURNS altitude and for me reaction to input is slower than I like. Single or both depending on distance and angle

Toggles on everything else. I get a quicker reaction to input from toggles and loose far less altitude per turn. I also instinctively grab my toggles before I look up at my canopy

There are alot of factors to consider. Wingloading, windspeed and direction, experience, personal preference, and comfort level

I use toggels because thats what I practice the most, right or wrong, it works for me, find what works for you...

Re: [gauleyguide] Heading corrections
I don't bother with heading corrections, I just kick my way down until the cliff gives up trying to kill me.

I'm back at work now though, it only took 8 months.
