Im still waiting for the site to be updated. Im wanting to order a suit soon, but no update yet. Im freaking out

Heard it was on display at BD. From pics and posts on DZ.com. It seems to be the PF offering in the suits of massive size ('carpet') category.

ok heres what i know.

its a suit in response to the Xbird/wing wingsuitt but PF style,

and its aupposed to be faster (of course that depends on the pilot)
i heard robi kept the proto type out of the BASE race so tony suit guys couldnt see what was going on with the PF boys and the Venom. needless to say it blew away the X wings time , at least with the current crop of pilots flying it!

anyway was just wondering whose been fortunate enough to fly one.


Oh yeah , and i know this is NOTa replacement at all of the Vampire series.

Hopefully we will be able to make some pics during flight this weekend, if weather permits.

The race is a timed race from exit to a point in the LZ over two flags that were set up. Day or so prior was set up ahead for test jumps. So, you can reference or compare any jumper/suit combo by time. It's a race from point A to point B.

No, does not make any sense. It has more wingsurface than Vampire so will not fly faster.
But I heard it has good glide and it is easy to fly

The speed the Venom has is impressive in its size/catagory, but compared to something like V3/V4 not something you get for the speed factor.

Expect more news/pictures/release info halfway into next month..

No questions in regards to the Venom. We can easily guess that it has to be a suit that has been specifically designed to operate on the slower end of the scale otherwise it would be in direct competition with a V4. Now that would not make any sense!

Can we apply that logic(bigger area so slower total airspeed) indiscriminately? By that logic a Phantom has to be faster than a V3?

It is possible for something to have an overall larger surface area but generate less drag.

I dont like your demanding title. I kinda dont like being told what to do. Made probs with my parents too.

Not a picture, but eyecandy nonetheless Looks like the Venom starts flying pretty fast after exit, has a very flat glide and has slower horizontal speed then I'd anticipated. I can't wait to demo one.

Not a copy, but an answer, certainly
The Venom is an evolution of the PF Stealth for skydive and experience Vampire1/2/3/4 wingsuits for basejump
These suits are easy to fly and have a good glide

But I wait V4

Tried a prototype on a few days ago, massive suit not suited for BASE according to the PF representative who was present. Think they are taking pre-orders for the V4 at the moment.

I'm guessing i'm that PF rep :)

To clarify, and sorry for any confusion, Venom will be suitable for BASE, but after talking to you it seemed you were more interested in forward speed, for which the V4 will certainly be your weapon of choice :)

We're not taking pre-orders for V4 yet, but I have your measurements and order form sat here on my desk ready to hit the order list the very second the factory are ready to take pre-orders :)
