Try asking over on dz.com wingsuit forum, I have a Flysight and use it to log for BASE, great tool. The audible tone thing is more practical from the plane but also useful on longer BASE flights..

I don't get it. Just don't plug the earphones in.
Flysight is the best thing out there.
Super light Super fast. really good integration with paralog and google earth.

That wont work.
But having the earphones connected and not in your ears works.
I also thought it would work without the earphones but it didnt.

But the earphones can easily be taped to the helmet or just tucked in somewhere.
Or you could just turn off the sound and have the earphones in your ears anyway.

Re: [Hellis] gps for wingsuit flights
Really?

I've used it with and without earphones without problem. Also been poking around the software and didn't notice anything that would prevent it from working.

Perhaps you had some other problem or have an old firmware?

Re: [LukeH] gps for wingsuit flights
Thats odd.

I know i dont have the latest version, and it didnt exist at the time when i tried it.
I also found it strange that it didnt work, could be receptionproblem.
I can try it again next year
