What makes you think he didn't care about that change? If that was the case he wouldn't have used a rope during his jump on that fateful day.

my 'doesn't care' part was out of respect and appreciation of his climbing abilities. Watching him climb in this video is kinda surreal to me. PURE 100% involvement in the activity he shows.

Yeah, he was one of the true legends of the sport in almost all of its styles. Seeing him dyno like 300ft up on a freesolo, so amazing!
