I have sat by long enough and feel an overwhelming urge to speak up on this dipshit named Cheeky.
This 19 year olds name is [ ] and tells some tall tales. He was a lousy skydiving student who started in June. He did not take instruction well, only reluctantly when he had to listen in order to get an A license. [ ] was warned several times during the student days about his canopy skills. He begged his coaches with regularity to lie that [ ] did well on a particular jump so he can progress to the next level.
At roughly 50 skydives, he showed up to his home DZ with a wing suit but was not permitted to jump it. He went to Chicago and lied about his skydiving experience. [ ] quickly wore out his welcome there after cutting off several swoopers. So, he came back to a different local DZ to wing suit and self admittedly lied to owner about his experience level to jump.
Fast forward a month or so where a trip to the Potato Bridge was supposedly taken. He says he was not mentored (one of the few honest statements made during his brief jumping career) and has learned on his own, basically online. [ ] states he then hitch hiked to Moab to hang out and do the cliffs, a complete embellishment. This guy has never jumped an E but indicates 30 jumps were made on this trip.
It gets better. He just put in for a BASE number but has no B either. [ ] states he qualified off his old high school, a seven story structure he says. A few buddies held his canopy open while he jumped off this site (see attached photo).
Back to the DZ where he now tells everyone he has 100 BASE jumps. The timeline just does not add up for Cheeky. If that was really true, why is [ ] packing (as in accuracy style) his BASE canopy at the DZ? There is more scary stuff. Skydivers notice he has very limited gear knowledge with slinks, toggle settings, correctly attached PC’s, etc. Still does. There is much more but you get the point. He eventually admitted to being fairly unknowledgeable about rigging in general (another rare truth). He is still lurking online under different BJ.com profiles looking for some sucker to show him how to BASE pack. He has two towers because he conned a couple unsuspecting BASE jumpers into tagging along. One of those towers was jumped after he flat packed his BASE rig at the DZ. Several people witnessed this scary shit.
[ ] likes to show off his Vibram five fingers shoes (Google 'em!) which are his “fence climbing shoes.” He also makes a lot of comments about towers and structures that would be better to day blaze than jump at night because he has no night experience.
Apparently, [ ] has ordered a Helium and plans to go Wingsuiting in Italy in January, at least that is what he tells everyone. The Italian locals are very respectable people who may want to think twice about showing him around.
This is an incident report in the making and hope he snaps out of it. I feel a bit childish writing stuff like this but [ ] is arrogant, stupid, lazy and more than anything else - disrespectful. The online community has been getting lies of various degrees from him since August of this year when he made his first jumps at the Perrine.
Think twice about jumping with this retard.
