Thanks Jason, Mark, Drew, and all others
The trip to BD this year was much more then I dreamed it would be. Not just the jump itself, which was one of the most peaceful experiences I've had in a long itme,
but the generous support of ALL who made it happen,
as MANY went out of their way to help make this trip such a memorable event.
Thanks to APEX BASE, these guys are great/ I overheard a conversation about WLO toggles -40 or so of which were recalled- so out i take my gear after it was just packed- and showed him mine- to make sure they are not the recalled ones (they were not) but the staff just packed all back up again for me, and gave awesome deals on gear.
The host, a business owner who supports the event with the portable toilets he was abslolutely awesome.
With a ride to and from the airport, and a guest house to stay in, and a ride directly to launch site with his event pass-how much better can the service get?
Ohh it sure did!
there is a photo i tossed up, as my Thanks Jason photo- for all that he has done, most of which I wont disclose- as the details do not matter, but the deeds will always matter and remain in my memories vividly.
It was good to meet a few whom I knew, and volunteer staff were great-when I think of all the work that goes into BD and knowing how much help Jason sent my way,
and surely others as well over the years-
i am deeply grateful.
