Phoenix-Fly Shadow
Hey!
Been skydiving a GTI for the past 2 years got it and it was boarder line too tight. Been working out and its getting tighter. Looking to get another WS, that I can also start base jumping in.
Was looking at a Phoenix-Fly Shadow. The PF website says thats it a great BASE beginer suit. Looks very similer to the S-Fly's
Was wondering what the pro's think about the suit?

thanks guys

Re: [nikejumper] Phoenix-Fly Shadow
Anyone knows if there is big difference in performance between S Fly Expert and Shadow?
They look very similar , indeed: no grippers, mono-wing concept, etc

Re: [freeflaw] Phoenix-Fly Shadow
The Inflation varies between both suits, the S-Fly needing more tension to fly, the Shadow relying more on inflation.
The heavier fabric on the S-Fly is different compared to the light ZeroP on the shadow.

Both factors are more personal preference vs. performance. The shadow seems to have a bit more speed due to the larger legwing.

I flew both suits (skydive) at a recent skydive event, and in terms of actual flying skills/style couldnt really notice any real difference between the two.
Both fly equally effective with the often mentioned 'monowing techniques', though views on that aspect vary depending on who you talk to.
