Resident @ high S Austrian / Italian border
Just a heads up, was jumping at E bridge the other evening and was approached by an angry resident on landing, he took our car registration and said we would be fined.

Guy is fed up with the nocturnal activity next to his house.

Slider up makes less noise and leaving the car nearer the road will also reduce the disturbance..

No yelling allowed either Wink

Does that mean I have to cancel the DJ and strobelights in the LZ and the giant sparklers I was going to jump? Bummer.

Maybe you should jump during the day so you don't wake the baby. He only seems to be concerned with nocturnel activity. Is it an illegal jump? If so you'll just have to run faster on landing!

In reply to:
It's Italy, they don't care.

actually it's not... And at that s, they do care.
I think it's around 400 EUR if you get caught.

Yes, they do care. The price of the jump ticket was 180eur couple of years ago. :)

I don't. But I know how italy works.

And I have gotten tons of "tickets" In europe. It's nothing official. I had one cop write it on a piece of paper once. They just like to pretend they are actually doing their job instead of just taking bribes.

my advise if you come to jump in LB:
don't try this with Swiss Cops (I know, we are in Europe but we are not part of Europe, bla bla bla)
Most probably they would feel a bit ofendend and to try to pay of a cop is considered as a crime and cops would have to report this. You would most probably end up in a jail for a night or two and get a big fine.

Swiss cops are another ballgame completely. I wouldn't fuck with them. And I don't go around offering bribes. It's more like "well, I have to write you a ticket for *insert whatever I did here*", I say "oh ok, is there anyway I can just pay the "fine" now." And they write you a "ticket" which you pay right then and there.

Voila. My dresser is full of them. Like I said, some are written on scratch pieces of paper. Italian cops don't care.

So Cheeky B, does your trick work in the US too? Never tried it, they normally shoot first and ask questions later Wink
