Re: [DiverStump] Finding maps online with anntenas
mapquest, Google maps, maps.yahoo.com, bing.com/maps

They all have a lot of maps. If you know the A's coordinates it would help a lot! Not telling how you find those unless you PM me a good reason that you would need to know them:P

http://skyvector.com/

caveat- this is an aeronautical map...if there is an error in height, it will be higher so that aircraft stay further away from it...still laze or rock drop or whatever you want to do the object you decide to jump

All antennas are required to be registered with the FCC and to display openly the registration number. There will be an FCC registration number on the fence surrounding every antenna in the country. The rest has already been explained.

several online resources exist for searching and locating antennae, towers and other broadcast devices registered with FCC - some allow search by locale, which means you don't need to know where an object is exactly, or the reg #. can also check for objects which you may not have been aware of. never trust heights though, always measure.

Go to an Aviation Pilot Supply Store. Buy a Sectional Chart for the area where you want to find Antennas. They will be displayed on these Charts, including their height above the ground!

Be sure to contact the local crew in that area, for a briefing, as to not burn their object.

I think I am the local crew. No base jumpers in my area except one and she only jumps the bridge and in other countries. So as far as I know I will be finding and jumping the objects around here without help.
