WS base is progressing really fast.
Proximity flying has become flying over something rather than next to it.
And the Bispen line has been steadily been getting crazier.

With DVD's always being 'yesterdays news' and most people having internet links up on their TV, we kind of shifted out attention (videowise) to YouTube/Vimeo.

Seeing as people seem to prefer getting the latest videos (edited or unedited) live and hot of the camera, instead of months later on a DVD.

But we can think about releasing a DVD with some of the recent edits and a specific 'main film' edited for HD/BlueRay if enough people are interested.

'scrape the line 1' seems to be a more fitting title though

Yeah Buddy, just put up "hot off the press" clips now. I wanna see it now not next year in a DVD.

Cool, however it's released mainly I (personally) just like to see stuff with longer clips and more complete lines as well. Awesome as this video is it feels like a teaser for something!

But that might be just me.

A much longer video is planned, with many more jumps (including lots of new stuff) and a lot of the jumps seen in this teaser. With less editing and longer cuts to clearly show the flying.

Maybe I'm not the only one who feels like this, but after watching so many proximity videos, it starts to look less and less dangerous. I just watched that clip, which was fucking insane, don't get me wrong... and thought "oh, that doesn't look too bad."

Maybe I am just tired... or maybe it's youtube numbness. Who knows.

its funny how further and further this aspect of BASE is getting from skydiving and become less in common with skydiving..

and more in common with BackCountry Skiing.
