That update cost me US$30, not 300. Is it really that much more expensive down there?

edit to add: Apple lists the system update from 10.5 to 10.6 as $29 on their web site. If someone is asking your for 300 bucks for it, they're probably trying to rip you off.

yeah thats the problem,
i have 10.4 and they do limited time offers for the upgrade when new ones come out.
so i have to update to 10.5 first then i can get the cheap one, pain in the ass apple! (but its a lot better than pc) lol!

Oh, sorry, I thought you said a Mac 10. I've got one of those, and a TEC 9.
