The Green Lantern*
Jumping with LeRoy was always a fun adventure.
What I remember most was the time we spent
after jumps at his house drinking beers, picking
pad locks for practice, him showing me magic
tricks, me showing him some kung fu, etc.

Fly Free Brother!

* an old nickname he had at a DZ
due to a funny RW suit he had.

Re: [Racha_Rodriguez] Leroy DB
le roy was a pretty cool cat, i'll never understand why this happened, he always seemed to be an uber cautious kind of jumper. thanks for posting, lest we forget...

Re: Leroy DB
One year ago today...

Though it sucks to think about how some poor decision making finally caught up to him, Leroy was my friend. I miss him and the jumps we did together.

He got me my first B (PTL) and my first O (an SC smokestack).

I will never forget our roadtrips together nor our long phone conversations about getting an elevator to work.

We did some fun waterfalls from that SC 300' day whore and he posted the vid up on YouTube some time later. Since he's passed I find myself watching the video every so often just thinking about the good times I had with my friend.

Through his death I've come to desire a bit more conservatism in myself and my jump buddies, so maybe something good came out of it. But I would still give anything to see him do some of his silly magic tricks at the bar, like the one where he gets the quarter in the coke can. He always played it so well.

If there is another side, I hope he's static lining something low and sketchy over there with that goofy smile of his and his nervous hemming and hawing before the jump.

RIP bro Frown
