TARDs
Hi, quick question to unpacked ninjas: On a really low object with a water landing (I'm looking at a 28m/90ft bridge), would you do a "smart tard" or lines in hand? I thought what better place to start unpacked jumps than this "pearl" and what better place to ask for advice than Internet! I see no flaws in my plan...

Any pointers concerning TARD execution in general (preferably PM) are much appreciated! Please be fast too, this will happen tomorrow!

Thanks,

Kerkko

Smart tard it was and it worked, surprisingly! Good stuff, gotta love the internets! Finnish BASE #5!

Fuck the Finns!

no video=never happened.

if I can have the video to convince me to do 90ft Tards, I can open a whole bunch of shit up in town :)

How long did you have from when your canopy was fully inflated until you hit the water?

Worked well, just jumped before Kege (He PCA me) and saw it:
Atleast same canopy ride as 3 X PCA before Hm or maybe even a little bit more...

And there is ALREADY video footage including all our jumps in Facebook

Finnish Bridge Day was nice and water was still amazing warm !

In reply to:

so is a 'smart tard' the equivelant of a roll over? and does this make lines in hand a stupid tard?

It all depends on what you find convincing... I would not recommend doing it anywhere over solid ground and/or where heading matters!

Rob: 2-3 seconds.

Littlestranger: I learned on the Internets that a "Smart-TARD" is a TARD but with your lines stowed in the tailpocket. Regular TARD I believe is just when you have the lines in your hand, spaghetti style.
