Registered for Bridge Day and looking to hear what to expect and any advice that you can give an FNG. I'm a B licensed skydiver with a little over 140 jumps and have done this over 18 months so I'm very current. While on a jump run on the climb to altitude I looked out the door and wondered should I wear a diaper to Bridge Day that is pretty damn low. Needles to say I never jumped a BASE rig or chute so I'm sure I have quite a bit to learn in a short time. Thanks in advance for the words of wisdom!

assumiong youve got gear lined up you're gonna wanna know how to pack it, and youre gonna wanna bring your fuckin party shoes, because brisge days not just about popping your fuckin cherry its about having a good time, and learingi a little bit about yourself in the process. Do you have what it takes>? i bet you do.

Are you taking one of the courses?

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Currently looking into additional classes before I arrive at Bridge Day this way I can learn the equipment and demo some gear. Figured this was a good route prior to me leaping off a bridge with zero experience. As for gear rental my mentor is making these arrangements, but I figure I need to start training now while I still have time. Thanks again for the support my local DZ has a BASE guy I'm going to discuss classes with him prior to Bridge Day.

Who is your 'mentor' if you're needing to find other jumpers to give you 'classes' in how BASE gear works?

go find cowboy nick or mtnillion667 or JDATC if you're looking to go further, or sonic if ya just wanna be a skydiver who makes the occasional basejump

either way is okay, but youre a marine not a coastie so i bet youre looking for the real deal. good luck, dont go in and stay away from the motorcyclews
