Hey all,

I already tried a search, but only came up with a few threads with 5 or less posts about it.

How many people here have signed up for it, and what are your expectations for this year as far as organization goes? I know they've had some organizational challenges and have reduced the tour to two venues this year, and that Gary Cunningham is also organizing a separate event after KL in Sibu.

What are people's thoughts on this year's event? Is it worth going this year, or should I wait until they have their shit sorted out a bit better (if ever)?

im going, booked flights already, waiting a little while to register. One other person in socal i know booked flights as well. I am waiting for the iron mule to go too, but so far no luck. i was really going to jump kl anyway, so the other stuff is just bonus.

Im going. I think one or two more norcal regulars are as well. Sounds like 3 days at the KL tower and some kind of prelim day, so i dont know if thats jumping or not. Havent bought tickets yet, but want to go to borneo after as well.

Borneo is nice. i was here last year. nice jumps indeed :)

So, there will be 5 days of jumping in Alor Setar and 5 days of jumping in KL. I believe, its gonna be day and night jumping at KL Tower.

There is no jumping from 3rd - 5th October 2010.
Langkawi is an island close to Alor Setar (just a boat ride away).
Borneo is always beautiful and full of nature. (You will have to fly there though)
Gua Damai is always available, if you fancy 300ft cliff with big landing area.
You may even head up to Thailand in between if planned well. May be very tiring if plan to jump at Tonsai.
Besides that, KL is just a playground
