I'll be out in Moab September 19th - 26th and will be camping. Is there a preferred campground in the area? We'll be tenting it, so just need shower facilities. Found this one which appears to be in town... any suggestions?

Check out Slickrock Campground (http://slickrockcampground.com/). It is owned and operated by a BASE jumper. Also, quite a few BASE jumpers live in the park! There are showers, a pool, hot tub, and options for electric/water/tv!

If you're really cheap, the dumpster behind Denny's is quite cozy. Need to be out b/4 the 7AM trash p/u though.

I believe I'm going to be camping at slick rock for the second half of your trip with 3 others. I hear good things about it I hope the rumors are true.
