Headed to Switzerland on Tuesday. I'm just curious if anyone has seen/been up the Eiger recently and how much snow(if any) was on the standard hike to the mushroom at this point? I'm trying to pack as light as I can and would rather not bring any of my ice gear unless I had to.

Do check when you arrive; the valley has had a lot of pecipitation over the last week, but you're probably okay.

thanks for the updates and the webcam link. Looks pretty crappy out, but Im hoping its just getting all the bad weather out of the way before I arrive
