Hi, does anyone know where I could get the famous Eiger poster that has Ueli jumping off the Mushroom? I tried to google it but this is the only thing I get and they charge $200 for it... http://www.fotosearch.com/IST504/1041032/

Any shop or gear store that sells it online?

Thats an expensive poster!! I hope someone knows where to buy it cheaper because Im interested in one too.

I got mine from Ikea a few years ago; Check there.

It was for sale in Ikea, but has been discontinued years ago.

Kege... Ikea used to sell that also in Finland and it was much cheaper than that 200...

Yep, I know Ikea used to sell that but not anymore. Apparently it's also Hannes Arch in the photo and not Ueli. So, any tips? Maybe some of the manufacturers or online gear stores? Has anyone bumped into this, other than in Ikea?

Posters not big enough for that

i searched that same poster for several years and then was lucky to find one in the office of my university's alumni association. they wanted to throw it away AAARRGH!! i rescued it.

if you are interested, i can make you a photo (in raw format, approx 20MB), that should make you a decent print, even in the original size. the original is not too good quality to start with...

if you (or anyone else) is interested, PM me. i am not sure i can upload 20 MB on any sharing website so you could download it, but i'd be happy to mail you a CD...

So... while I was travelling I remembered someone getting very upset about "rights" to photos and the internet not being a law free zone (just to make it clear: I think he was completely right). I then tried to contact Hannes Arch, who replied me within a Day that it was actually him jumping and he gave me the name of the photographer.

He is actually in Greenland on an expedition, shooting photos. His business associate answered and said they still had a couple of ikea prints available and said their price was 90CHF (approx 85USD) + shipping. I also asked if they could do reprints of different sizes and what it would cost.

Will post as soon as I have an answer.

i ve got it in my kitchen!!!
i buy it in Switzerland in a professional phographer when i came back from lauterbrunnen to france.i remember it was expensive.
I think you can find in Internet site.
i am searching and when i find i tell you!!
perhaps search who is the official photographer.
