I hope someone will help me out. My story... I was huge into base jumping have over 300 jumps from various objects all around, but then joined the army to be an apache helicopter pilot, so while I was in flight school they are very strict about fun activities and if you get hurt they can kick you out so I refrained from hucking anything. I havent jumped since aug2008 which is almost 2 years. I am not an idiot and dont want to go ball myself up and ruin it for anyone in the springs area so if you are a active jumper in the colorado springs area and dont mind giving me a little love please let me know so I can get my jump on. like I said I have over 300 jumps(not just from idaho), but I just havent messed with my gear in a while and dont know where people are jumping in the area. So please shoot me an email @ jesserosco at yahoo dot com. If I dont here from anyone Im just going to assume there are no jumpers in the springs and Ill just start jumping from whatever I can find, but would love to find some cool people to jump with.

Officer with the same problem. I filled out an ORM "safety form" (AF) and informed my supervisor and it hasnt been a problem yet. I understand pilot training is different but maybe you might want to hold off til it's over anyways, you wouldnt want to wash out from injury.

All the same, just moved from C-springs. I am not an experienced jumper but there are a few around there who are very very experienced... I am sure they will PM you if they want to but I wish you best of luck. It would be nice to talk offline about your feelings with getting BASE permission or not in the military.
