So just wondering how the glide on the Seven ( by Asylum BASE) wihtout ZP leading edge is compared to an all F 111 (any brand name) .

reason im asking is i bought an all F 111 Fox (no ZP leading edge) prettty much brand new great condition canopy anyway... i got too used to the ZP leading edge canopie s that jumping this thing in no wind or down wind make s me feel like i just started jumping!! (htfu!)

just wondering what people think of the Seven without ZP leading edge?? Vs. the standard BASE canopies F 111 --mostly wondering about the glide difference???? i mean is the new material that much better/diferent in this department as well. not too concerend about the Other aspects of the Severn but the glide.

In my experience the Blackjack/Ace has been the best for glide.
The Seven looks to match or better the performance of the Blackjack/Ace. I haven't seen anyone jump both at the same WL in the same wind conditions.
I don't think the material has as much to do with glide as the cut of the canopy.
Deadmanwalking recently replaced his Blackjack with a Seven, I am sure he can make a better comparison.

I HAVE MAYBE 30 JUMPS ON A NON ZP SEVEN AND NORMALLY JUMP A ACE. IN THOSE 30 JUMPS IVE FOUND THAT I HAD MORE GLIDE AND MADE IT TO PLACES THAT OTHER PEOPLE I WAS WITH JUMPING ACES THE SAME SIZE DIDDNT. I ORDERED ONE SOON AFTER GIVING IT BACK. HOPE THAT ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION.

yeah i jump an Ace ZP and luv it soo much.also gotta Flik ZP as wel. but some times feel the need for something more docile..excepth the Fox i got now is all F111 and well we alll know how inferior all F111 is compared to ZPleading edge is for soo many reasons!

any way got this canopy from somebody disgruntled bout thier Fox canopy (even thoough they got a killer deal,,, then i got an even killer(er) deal!!!
