Newbie with a couple of questions...
So this is my first post in this forum...a bit of background:
I have been skydiving for almost 4 years and have 735 jumps. My skydiving canopy is a highly loaded CB and I dedicate a fair number of jumps to piloting...
So I went out last weekend and did my first BASE jump...the S! Was a good time and I had a friend/mentor with me every step of the way. I have made arrangements with another friend of mine and am more than likely going to purchase his Mojo 240 in an Odyssey container. I guess I am wondering what some more experienced peoples opinions are on this canopy/container system. The guy I am purchasing it from has hundreds of jumps with approx. 200 on this particular canopy. Seems like a reasonable fit for me as I will be loading it at or around .75:1.
So any input would be appreciated as far as the gear goes and a safe progression into the sport. Wink

.75 is high! I jumped at that for a few years, when I upsized I felt much better about spot landings and descent rate.

If you plan on jumping anything with a technical landing I would consider a bigger and newer canopy.

Bridges and Antennas with generous landings
you should be fine but like the guy said...
on Buildings, Low Cliffs, and tight LZ's
I would recommend newer, bigger, and
maybe some vents.

Thanks!!! It was amazing!

I also appreciate the input...that is right in line with what I had intended for that particular canopy. Keep jumping the bridge and hit up the Potato state in September. I definately won't be doing the B or E on that particular canopy. Thanks again for everyones input!
