Hi everyone,
I'm new here. I am not a Basejumper. So that you know. I just skydive but I will be in Italy in Verona for 3 weeks starting middle of June and I would love to go see some base jumps from Monte [something]. I do not want to jump I am just fascinated about it and I would like to see at least a jump from the exit point. I just saw people jumping in [a valley] once but from the landing area in the valley. If somebody would like to hang out and take me up there, I could help with anything you need (like a sherpa ). Cool thank you guys and have fun this season

you are doing a poor job of introducing yourself and understanding the BASE community. this site has a policy against specific site naming. it's better to keep some things obscure.

yes, names get mentioned. some more than others. but someone you might want to meet PM'd me about your post. thus I removed locations.

you might not realize it, but freely discussing sites is seen as disrespectful by many.

may I suggest you state why you want to watch?
curious?
reporter?
want to come back later and jump on your own?

give people a reason to trust.

Hi, I apologize about that. As I said, I am not in your sport but it doesn't take much to figure out the spots, just google 'base jump Italy' and there you go. But again, I did not know and I apologize. I'm sorry
Why I posted this? I am not a reporter, I am just a skydiver and I would like to see a base jump from the exit point there. I'll be in Torbole windsurfing and I figured that's close enough. I also know that I could go there myself but I would never find the exit point in a day excursion. About jumping, I don't have the gear and quite frankly the balls to do it, therefore I do not plan to go back and jump. Thanks let me know then

Yeah dude...you should have just put down "ITW". That way, there would have been at least 10 people IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD who wouldn't know which mountain you're speaking of. Perhaps as many as 20.

Wwarped; I'm not really bothered about this at all, it just struck me as funny, especially since the name appears in various other posts on this site.

Dr.Al; too early to know if I'll be there at that time, but if I am, you're quite welcome to carry my gear to the exit point. Oh, and if you're coming with a car and are prepared to drive us up the mountain I might even buy you beer in the evening instead of the other way around.

 
By the request of the local ITW jumpers, we ask that one uses ITW on the BASE forums.
We were the ones who fought for the legality of BASE there with the Italian equivalent of the
USA's Dept of Interior. I was there meeting with the Italian Government. Where were you?
IMHO, one should put some effort in. Those 10 or 20 you speak of can destroy what we have
fought for.
I don't think what we ask is too much. Just a lil respect is all we ask.

It's all cool Space. It struck me as funny since the name really is all over these forums (to say nothing of YouTube). I definitely respect all the effort that was put into making [***] how it is today and if you guys think the name shouldn't be mentioned here, well, I've no problem with that.
