hey i guess i'll start by saying im new so if this is in the wrong forum area or has already been covered im very sorry.

pretty much im curious can anyone describe to me the general differences between base jump canopy's and skydive canopy's. can you use base jump canopy's to skydive from 14000 ft? can you use skydive canopy to base jump. Just a brief description of each and the differences would be very much appreciated.

what are you jumping now? (there is a wide variation in skydiving canopies!)

Classic accuracy parachutes are more similar to a BASE canopy than they are to a swoop parachutes!
