Getting married in September and doing a honeymoon in Ireland. The lil lady is cool with me taking a rig. Any info or locals???? I'll be arriving in Dublin on September 13th and leaving on the 21st. We will have a rental car and flexible schedule.

Just a little recommendation on how to deal with "the Irish": offer to meet and TO PAY FOR PINTS, that should work.

It did for me, and the Irish guys I met were a really, really nice bunch.
