10-12 but it was a bridge so I don't think it counts.

Over 6. I can't vote because of the skillz qualifier.

It's too vague of a poll to be useful.

Let me be less vague....Not a Bridge....Short delay.

Is it too windy if you make it back over the exit under canopy? Tongue

4-6 MPH on a 270ft Power Tower. We got halfway up and a storm rolled in FAST. Lightning started striking so we decided we need to get off fast. Because of the way we have to get on the tower climbing the rest of the way up and jumping was faster than trying to climb back down.

I believe the wind is then technically up the face rather than into it, making it no longer a bad idea to jump. Wink

I once jumped a freestander in a 1-2mph headwind. Opened fine but once i started a 90 left, I got whipped around 180 and almost hit the object. I dont know if it was the wind or if i had a bridle over but ever since then I promised never to do that again.

In reply to:
5-10 on a 465' B with a perfect manicured lawn to land on.

That's pretty stout. Did you go of the corner and feel justified by the 270 behind you or are just simply a bad ass MF?
Cool

Take home lesson: buildings are good to at least 10 mph headwind.

I'll take that under advisement.

8 MPH headwind, gusting to 12. Balcony in the dead center of the 29th floor. Residential building. Dayblaze. Never again.

The (gorgeous) photographer and I had spent three days trying to jump four different buildings. Had been on the 32nd floor of another one that morning, also staring into a headwind, and walked down.

Anyone else I'd have simply told "screw it, the winds aren't right". But this photographer had a perfect ass.

End result: 140 offheading AND failed to get laid that evening.

jumped a 300' E with about a 5 to 10 mph face wind. I did wait for the lull. Oh yea it was someone ells's rig packed by them and it was the first jump on the rig. It went like clock work. Smile
