Croatian S
Does anyone know the status of the Croatian S. Is jumping still tolerated?
Planning to stop by in June.

So, what's the status of this object? Is it still jumpable?
I was thinking of visiting it in July and am wondering if this idea is worth trying or it has some strings attached.

Re: [asquante] Croatian S
we were there for 4 days jumping a lot, no problems, with police or local authoritys, bridge maintinance gave us a wave whilst we were getting ready.

The word on "the streets" is that somone high up, in the land of the police, jumps from time to time. and has explained the situation to the local police men, and they tolerate the antics now going on, this will surley end if you go in, so please don't die :)

Re: [crashtested] Croatian S
I have to say that i live close to this bridge and never heard this story. There is a sign that forbids walking on the bridge!

But anyway using common sense when jumping is appreciated. This (for me) means:
- no stopping of the car on the bridge
- do not walk accross the road
- stay as little time on the bridge as possible,
- be polite to police, higway maintaince and to to the farmer who owns the landing area
- avoid jumping in big groups

Re: [bor] Croatian S
Well, as far as I can understand, jumping this bridge is OK as long as we use common sense and don't do anything stupid like dying there?)
Thanks for the replies!

Does anybody know about any other worthy objects in Croatia (Istria)? We'll be coming there for 3-10 July so wonder if there's anything besides the forementioned S.
