Does anyone know what the results were from this event? I cannot find anything on the blog or online news reports.

That's some pretty sick accuracy skills. Quick thinking to swiftly hook the ropes of his parachute around the metal rods of the fence.

I've jumped that tower about 50 times and wasn't able to get near that fence.

The guys miss rigged/packed his canopy with the break lines crossed. He was actually one level lower where the water tank is and managed to climb through and get to safety. Classic journalism blown out of proportion.

7 foreigners and about 20 malaysians

Result:
1st: Sidek (Malaysia)
2nd:Arab (Malaysia)
3rd: Hizam (Malaysia)

A couple of 180's, one tree landing and one hang up on the street light. No injuries.

I noticed the nice PCA shot used for the article. Do you have a list of experience levels

It was this guy's first BASE jump.

Apparently he had lots of skydiving etc.
