Basejumper.com - archive

I'll be in town July 10th through the 16th checking out the area as a potential place to live in a year or so. I'll have my rig with me and would like to join in the fun if anyone is going out then. I'd like to get an idea of the local BASE and skyjumping scene, and any other input on the area for that matter (rock climbing, outdoors activities, local farms/food/breweries, know of any interesting jobs available etc.) and would appreciate any feedback locals would be willing to give.

Hope to meet up with a few of you later in the summer, assuming some of you are actually local to the area.

I haven't lived there, but my grandma has a house there we used to stay at for a few weeks every summer way back when, so i cant really comment on any SPECIFIC sites to jump, or what their skydiving scene is like (never got into all that until more recently), but I can tell you if you like rock climbing, and hiking there are thousands of miles of trails and many many great places to climb. If you're an outdoors type person you'll love it
