Phantom2z vs Tbird ??
Which of those two suits are more:
confortable?
easy to fly/stable?
perf?

I guess there are much more users of the Phantom because the Tbird is quite new.
Maybe some people have tryied both, then please comment.

i personally prefer phoenix-fly, just trust to what i have tried and i'm pretty happy with that. never tried t-bird but it looks a bit larger, so talking about easy to fly, i'd go for phantom. i have one and really happy with it!Sly

Classic basejumper.com gear comparison.

I'm not super-familiar with the intended environment for each of these wingsuits (as compared to others by the same manufacturer), but can I ask why you've chosen these specific two to compare? When jumpers with more experience on both suits come across this post, it might be helpful if you could be more specific about "perf". Are you looking for a suit that flies with a high glide ratio? One that flies well on its back? One with twitchy controls?

Re: [cyril] Phantom2z vs Tbird ??
Before i ordered my WS i tested both of these. After jumping prodigy and prodigy 2's at the DZ i decided i was going to purchase my own WS. Kathy sent me the PF demo and a traveling Michigan jumper had the T-Bird demo.

Phantom 2, not the zip version, but i don't hold that against it. Easier to fly than the prodigy, very quickly moved into barrel rolls, then trying to chase down tandems to buzz. As a "beginner" WS guy that doesn't care for the USPA's jump numbers requirements, i probably can't offer solid data. I was front flipping in within 3 or 4 jumps and after a solid dive to get down to this tandem, i flared it out and flew past the front of them. the tandem instructor said it was awesome and said it looked like i was flying horizontally when i flared it out.

T-Bird-I jumped this after the Phantom, so maybe i had more experience under my belt; but the first jump on it, i was back flying and then doing double barrel rolls. I didn't get many jumps on it, but it was super easy to fly. I feel like i may have had better glide with the T-bird than the Phantom in normal flight. i think the long couple of cells from the arm wing that follow the side of the body down to the legs makes a difference.

Either suit is fun, but i went on to demo an S-bird and thats what i ended up ordering. I did this because i couldn't figure it out right away, like an intelligent chick, i need to spend more time with her, get to know her, then once i learn the ins and outs, rag the shit out of her.javascript:%20addTag('sly')

Re: [Davo] Phantom2z vs Tbird ??
just a thaught

suits with the extension down the leg will probably outperform ones without it not somuch because of the extra wing surface area but because it helps streamline the leg especieally the large frontal area created by the thigh to the knee on suits with a wide stance.
