I've also posted this on Blinc, but wanted to post a short one here.
When you want to visit a site and you're not considered a local to that site, do everything possible to contact locals. They are the ones that know all the ins and outs and bust factors if any. I don't claim this site as my own but it seems that certain people don't care about burning this particular site. I'd be more than happy to take experienced jumpers out to the site and share a few jumps and point out what needs to be known about the site. Remember, every site is unique and has different factors.
And don't do anything to change sites. For example, cut grass, locks, barb wire, fences, dig, break windows, install launching platforms or leave any trash behind. I found a few of these at one of our local sites and needless to say my partner and I were big time PO'd. Don't mean to sound like a D..k but we don't want to lose our playground.

What about footprints though? I jump here in a state that encounters snow. So, the question becomes, are footprints acceptable to leave? They leave evidence of activity at a site. I can only imagine the site workers coming to work some day, seeing footprints that lead one direction. To the object. The footprints dissappear, and there are no other tracks leaving the object. Except for those mystery footprints that somehow appeared in the field, about 200 meters away from the object. It's only a matter of time before the authorities can piece together what has happened. Especially with me discussing it like this. I just wanted to share that sometimes footprints are too much to leave.

with that last comment about footprints, I would like to add one thing.
Sometimes in the snowy season, I will walk around the site extra. to and from the fence, to and from the driveway, and create lots of extra footprints, so a person could not trace where the last step was taken. This could lead to thinking more people were there, but I try to do it in a manner where it looks as if one person came to the site, walked around outside it, did not trespass, and left. Nothing happened. just someone came to see it, and when they read the "No Trespassing" sign, they left.

I belive that he mented,dont leave trash or other stuff.Leave the Objekt as it were before you came,exept of the footprints...
And thouse prints 200m from the objekt..maybe its a gost

One thing to add about messing things up, if the Object is not legal, then trespassing is the minimum you can get and this is a misdomeanor only.
If you cut/break or alter anything, it can go directly to a felony!

This is not a joke at all.
When you go anywhere, try to leave as few footprints as possible. The fewer the better. The more footprints, the more likely employees/cops will know you have been there. They will use this in court as well.

But the world just turns against you when you break something. The legal system is very paranoid these days about security, and you are assumed to be a terrorist no matter what!
Even though all you deal s steal a little altitude. ;-)

in this lithel cuntry we are about 15BASE jumpers(im the only one in my region).
When i started jumping"my"objekt i also talked to the farmers around the antenna.Most of them have been out whaching me jump.They told me that they would have been angry if i were jumping,and not saying who i am(no names no adress).i told them what i do and how.Ialso told them that i wouldnt land on their feild if posible,and if i should then i would take care for it(may even pay for damage.
Then 2 month ago it went wrong for me.I brooked my leg on a feild.Soon as i got out of hospital i went out to the farmer.said it aa it were.There were no damaged of the feild,but however they were happy that i told them that is were alive..
Point.. if you are local stay to the rules,are you not,then contact the local.Im not saying that evry farmer in the world would take it the same way,but not all are the same..
