I am so angry and frustrated after getting the information yesterday. Red Bull claim they have the rights to World Races, and therefor I can not use World BASE Race anymore.

Anyone who know more about what I can do, before I spend time, money and energy to save MY name! I have copy righted it in Norway, and should thereforer be also protected "world wide" At least in Europe!

i will ask a friend,...he is a lawer for this special problem
think they try simply to fuck and scare you to change YOUR brand because the try to build something similar...

You say you have the name copy written but do you have it trademarked?

If you have it trademarked then there isn't much RB can do.
If you don't then there isn't much YOU can do.

I'm guessing it was a standard cease and desist letter.
Best thing to do is to get a Copyright/Patent/Trademark Attorney on to it. I'm no attorney but I have just finished working in trademarks for the last 2 years
