I may just judge this time. Somehow my back was completely covered in black and blue the next day, even though the gainers didn't hurt a bit when I did them.
That seems to be a common problem arond the Dz as well.
We get into
'beer bungee' (incase you dont, its simple, hook an old harness to a bungee cord-tie it to a tree, you run/walk drinking beer as far as you can and gently place your beer on the ground and let the bungee bounce yah back into the bushes).
so the one (and last) year I tried that,
being difficult to push the wheelchair and drink beer at the same time, I requested one guy to pull the wheelchair forward as I drank, he got as far as he could, and it wasnt enough so by the time 3 of them had pulled me as far as they could muster strength [or courage?] to pull the gimp, they let go after I diligently placed my beer on the ground.
I did 3 backflips in the wheelchair before it came to a stop. The next day of jumping was wasted on laying on the couch alternating between sleeping, puking and nursing my concusion.
The fellow who 1st pulled me was my this winters wind tunnel 'catcher; and he said 'to this day every time i see that video i cant believe we did that to you'...
I do remind him I was a willing and very non-sober participant in all the fun that night (including the point blank paint ball gun shooting matches we had, which left me looking like I had the chicken pox the following day, when asked what it was the quick and short reply is that its the beer-light pox.
I was thinking that gainers out the door at 90 mph seem to work just fine but a gimp in the shallow endof the pool-maybe I better sit back and do the drinking and video or else that may be the only 'jumping' i do that trip.
