There's nothing hard about a pin container. Unless your IQ is under 60, it will take you 2 tries to learn how to close it.
Velcro is fine as long as :
you don't mind low resale value of your brand new container.
you don't mind getting funny looks from other jumpers (skip this step if you are over 50)
you join the Facebook group "I still jump a velcro rig"
you don't mind having to constantly watch the grip degrade, and have to spend the last 10-20 jumps on the old velcro always being afraid to flex your back.
as far as the brand - whichever one looks good to you, of course. All of the current manufacturer make very solid products that you are not very likely to die under due to the build.
Most important advice I can give you is to make sure it looks good. All black or lots of tyedye. This way you can blend with other jumpers at Perrine.
