I was talking with a "stanger" and was just wondering how many of you have NEVER been to TF, but have several(~50-60, or more) BASE jumps under your belt?

I have 304 jumps and have never been, I am going end of next week though :)

october ill have been basejumping for 6 years, and have yet to go to the perrine.

Which Florida Boys are going this year?

I've been once, in 2004, but I had just under 1100 jumps when I went. Did my 1100th then left in a hurry. I didn't like so much

600 base jumps, maybe 10 legal jumps out of the 600, never been to the Perrine.

Hardly a jumper, but definitely a rim walker and basewatcher. Two years ago an Aussie came to do his first and left with over 300. A sheepshearer from Melbourne came here again and jumped today. It's been picking up recently as Spring approaches with a bunch from Hawaii, Georgia, Las Vegas, etc. etc. etc. Apex and Bad Seed had first jump courses these last two weeks. Not overly busy but weekends pick up. Arrivals do comment how it is neat to jump legally somewhere where it's friendly.

Regarding "I'd Rather Fly" I’ve got megabytes of eye candy but this film conveys heaps of soul especially when the young ones are mentioned at the beginning.

I really want to watch the whole film but my speeds here in Kenya are crap so of the three attempts made so far I've never been able to watch it all. Is there any way I can make a payment and download it?

I agree with you John, it is a very powerful DVD.

I bought a copy of from Lonnie by way of Sparky.

I had about 100 jumps before I went there. I had a blast, it being totally legal and like a playground.

I've never been up there and have over 100 BASE jumps. Karnowski has offered to go up there with me sometime and show me how it's done though. Would like to learn how to do all that unpacked stuff.

It's important to remember that you are only allowed to log 15 jumps on your BASEjumping resume, from the potato bridge, all jumps above and beyond that number while fun, and possibly even impressive to your contempories, JUST DON'T COUNT!

did my first Twin jump in "90 with 2 friends from Oklahoma. It took us 6hrs to find our way out. Tried climbing up but didn't think we could make it. Than started hiking up river, that didnt work, then we headed down river and found the trail. It wasn't much of one back then. What an adventure all the way to twin from florida for one jump. Look at the place now who would have guessed

Perflare clearly stated that the number is 30.

Experienced jumpers have put in a lot of effort to post information, the least you can do is put in effort to read it. why do people continue to ignore these efforts? do you think it shows respect?
