Very sorry for your friend's loss
I would gladly kick the thief.

This happened to a Florida BASE
jumper rather recently also - lost
his gear, PC's, packing tools, etc.

Can we all agree that leaving your
expensive, special, custom gear in
a parked car is not a wise decision?

And don't give me that I parked in a
nice neighborhood spiel because the
thieves know that you can find much
better swag in better zip codes.

Lane you may want to post this on dropzone.com as well since a whuffo thief may show up at any TX dropzone to try and sell it not knowing the difference between skydiving and BASE gear. I'd also watch Ebay.

See if we can get him to come to A town. :)

wait till i'm in town to find him, i'd be happy to take his scalp - will use it as handle for pc.
