Hey, Im kinda new to this. I really really wanna jump off a tower crane. I really respect BASE jumpers and want to be a part of that community. Is there anyone here that can teach me how to get on one? Or could I come watch you do it? Im so excited for this next step in my life, I hope its all its cracked up to be.
My friend told me he would find one downtown after work, well he did. I went and looked at it and I cant believe it is so big. It must be like 120 feet tall!!!
So if anyone here can help me out Id appreciate it. ill pay, and Im not scared to, as another poster put it....."Harden the fuck up!"
Last week I bought an old backpack with something like a moja 235 in it, it is named after the bridge in Idaho, its a perrine pro 2. I think it is good to go, the guy I bought it from put the chute in there for me and folded it up all cool. There is one thing I dont know what to do with though....... Another chute that is like as big as my kitchen table, what do I do with this one. There are about 2 24" pieces of ribbon wrapped around it and I cant figure out if Im supposed to take them off or not.

If not, when you jump the crane, tie the thick string that connects the small parachute to the big parachute to the crane with brake chord. Ill use my old underware, it seems to be soiled after I climbed the tower this evening. I jumped off but only onto the building next to it. It was like a 25 foot fall and for fuck sakes my little chute did nothing to slow me down. I hit a twig and snapped my fukin femur. If only I had someone to show me the right way. I like turtles.....

I know a lot of you think MacDonalds is a big multinational company that is evil and makes food that tastes like cardboard. You could not be mistaking more. First of all. MacDonalds as a rendevous point for basejumpers is ideal. They are always located near highways and they are very easy to find with their golden arches. The meat is like any other meat, it comes from the cow and its exposed to heat until its tasty. They add american cheese and ketchup and secret sauce for the Big Macs. Then a bun with sesame seeds on top and another one the bottom. Honestly. How the fuck could you make it better yourself. Just because Burger King is two dollars more expensive and has a slight barbeque taste of their secret sauce, doesnt mean they are better. I have approx 1000 visits to various fast food chains across the world. KFC, Jack-in-abox, Wendy, Arby, BK, DQ, Subway, Quiznos, Pizza hut. They all serve the same kind of food, but I always return to MacDonalds because you know what you gonna get and they have great procedures to create fast and safe food whether you are in Aberdeen or Zaire. I say we as a community start buycotting (its a new word, it means the opposite of boycotting) Next time a college know it all hippie tries to quote from the movie SuperSize me order him an apple pie and ask him where else you can get THAT good warm apple pie at 2am for a dollar
