Does anybody know how to remove teargas residue from a container and parachute? or if this can be done? (it was exposed to 70 canisters, not sure if the rig was packed or not).

It was in a house that was part of the Seattle Police Department's attempt to catch a dude that killed a few cops about a month ago.

Just use soap and water. If you want to see if its all gone, just rub your rig with your fingers then rub your eyes

The container is the easy part, Just wash it with Woolite and you’re good to go.
The canopy is another story. Since it is not ZP, washing will increase porosity and affect opening and flight thus it is not recommended. Check with the manufacturer.
