not to familiar with the numbering system of Asylum merchandise. want to possibly order a container through Asylum i think.

I like a tight/firm fit.

so im wondering if anybody on here with CR/Asylum experience knows and has personaly/purposely used a smaller container and know the number associated with the container size.

i.e. if a 260 normal sized container would be a normal fit in a "PP6"

then maybe two sizes down for a firm fit would be a "PP4" or whatever. that's something like what Apex BASEs' systems like. i used to put a 266 in a DP4 (made for a 220/242).

have you tried calling them? they will answer any questions you have.

beyond a manufacturer's recomendation, have you tried asking someone with a similarly sized rig if you can try to stuff your canopy in to it?

Im no pro but, Right size canopy in the right size rig sounds like a smooth rig, a large canopy stuffed into a tight container sounds like room for hesitation and problems.... you don't want hesitations in this sport...... but again id call the manufacture, Marty has been doing this for 25+years and id listen to his advise...
