The Clermont has been featured on an episode of Insomniac with Dave Attell, and celebrities including Marilyn Manson and Kid Rock have been known to visit the Clermont when in Atlanta. The Clermont is perhaps best-known for featuring some dancers who do not meet the traditional physical standards for strippers, the most famous of whom is Blondie, noted for her ability to completely flatten empty beer cans between her breasts as well as for her poetry.

That's ironic...Couple of days ago, a friend met my girlfriend and I in Nashville. After dinner we decided to hit some bars, where we saw a sign for nude karaoke. That's some seriously intriguing shit, so we went in. Turned out it was basically a strip club where one or two of the chicks lipsyncs some songs.
We actually thought it might be a spot where regular people would come in, take their clothes off and sing...in retrospect, i'm glad that wasn't the case...some people have no business being naked in public!

I live right below Atlanta and I've heard the stories of the Clermont Lounge. Very interesting stuff, strange though.
