Happily, there has been no posts mentioning a year end fatality. Smile

The end of December benefited from a second Full Moon, and I remember chatter about enjoying it.

I intended on jumping, but ended up next door at an impromptu party. we spent a few hours setting off several thousand dollars worth of fireworks.

My 3 jumps of 2010
Friday 1st - packed my 2 BASE rigs & a pilot's rig
while waiting at a new DZ for the weather/wind to
cooperate, eventually did a sunset 2-way from 5k.

Saturday 2nd - did two solo, static line, back to
back BASE jumps from the same low Building Wink

tried to but there was some delays...was on the A for the countdown and ended up jumping 10min after midnight

I did my 1st naked jump at midnight along with my 1st night S and 1st SL jump. Tons of beer owed Wink

It was an awesome day and night of jumping, I can't wait for next year's new year jumps Laugh

The wife just got the rod out of her femur 2 weeks ago, she's fine but sore. If I went out for a jump without her because she's mending, in our marriage that would be BASE cheating. I do NOT BASE cheat on my wife..........the horror...

ye, missed that one. Still got two jumps in with you guys before going off to score some brownie points with the wife.

This was almost a complete fuck up because 1/2 way to Knysna I had to stop the bike at a petrol station because of rain and mist... I could picture myself hugging the petrol attendants and wishing them happy new year at 12... What a nightmare!!!Unimpressed

Thanks for the jumps though, it was good catching up with you guys and it was an awesome day.

oh and by the way, I worked out what that weird stinging thing on my leg was: It was sunburn. I had spent 4 hours on the bike and had a hole in my jeans. Crazy
