With all due respect guys, i knew Richard from skydiving and he made a completely retarded mistake. I dont think i'll repeat Tongue

I plan on heading out with a guy who has been to twin and knows the routes out. Just wanna know if people are still gonna be out there having some fun.

Thats the best time, its when there isnt a bunch of yahoos out there. Its all yours and its nice and cool for the hike. Definitely take the walk out rather than the climb because even a little bit of frost on those rocks could really ruin your day.
Have fun, Be safe.

Thanks MFOB. Any idea what wind conditions are like out there that time of year?

Usually pretty good. Storms can roll through and screw things up, but "normal" winter conditions are fairly calm, because a lot of the wind is generated by thermal activity, and with lower temperatures, there is less thermal activity.

Yea, I do. I Lived in Idaho for 30+ years and it is one of a kind. Weather usually is pretty good. Since Twin is basically in the Desert it is pretty mild. You know sometimes youll have storms and such that never seem to end, but for the most part the weather, wind in most general is the calmest on those clear winter days in Idaho. Youll hit good and bad days, but that is like anytime of the year, you just have to go out to the bridge and look down at the flag and make sure you are comfortable with the winds at the time.
In the summer there are a lot of thermals that mess with you, but in the winter the cold ass air seems to hang around and not move too much. But Like I said youll just have to check at the time. Where I grew up about 150 mile to the east of there it was ALWAYS windy it seemed and cold as fuck. But the closer you get to Boise the warmer and milder it gets. So have fun out there and dont forget to call the Sherriff, especially on the days when it is only you jumping.

Anytime Bud, Like I said Have fun. I sure wish I hadnt moved to Seattle for work, cause bet your ass id be at the bridge with you that time of year. I prolly got twice as many jumps off the bridge in the winter months than I do in the summer months. Very nice time to jump. Plus I aint a pussy when it comes to being a bit cold. And I always carry a lighter :)
