are you marketing gear or information ?

Is "CANOPYS" a British English thing kinda like "CHEQUES" ?

Looks like an interesting concept, but there are a few things that bug me.

The menu and links in the header and footer are kind of hanging out there in space, and should either be framed into place somehow or otherwise adjusted to keep them distinct. For example, the links in the very top left, if less important than the main menu, could be reduced in size and moved further into the corner in order to leave some "white space" (in your case, black space) in the header to declutterize it.

Additionally, the background image doesn't really fit your target market. You can probably go snag one of Jason Bell's base jumping photos from www.verticalvisions.com and shop out the watermark. Last I heard he was perfectly okay with that Angelic (Or you can buy an image for a couple bucks from istockphoto.com, or maybe even find a free rights-cleared one at sxc.hu)

I do like your logo, though I think the name itself could have been tied in a bit closer with your target market. Also, I'm pretty sure 'Play' has already been trademarked in the clothing industry by a major overpriced mallcancer over here.

As for your content, there are lots of things that don't seem right, but since this is a design project for school I figured I'd focus on the design aspect. Good luck in the future Smile

Why would you have a pic of a container in the "canopys" section? A pic of a flying canopy might be more appropriate.

What the hell does that say on the right? "Play"?

My vote: ok

However, I thought the use of
building blocks was very clever.

Hey, I would move for moderator to permanently Ban both ( dardsidedan & stewie)
As the Board rules clearly state that a No-Tolerance Policy for 'Feeble Attempts' at Pedophilia Humor is unacceptable & As Is FORBODEN ! ... <|; )

well...
this whole thread kinda seems marginal. I could argue the premise of the thread seems to be an advert. (that is why I moved this thread to "The Hangout.")

the screen shot did show a "Child" tab, so the first few comments continue that marginal trend.

now... a few more recent posts crossed the pedophilia line with no hint of grey. they are now gone. let's not continue down that path...
