Hi all,
Another advice.
Many times my slider does not come all the way down.
The rig is new 30 jumps all bought in Assylum.
Anyone can give me some advice? appart to go back to Assylum?

Does it happen on all slider jump?
Meaning even on longer delays?

Have you tried giving the brakes a
long stroke as you un-stow them?

What kind of canopy? When you say "from Asylum" does that mean the canopy is the Seven?

What sort of delays are you taking?

What sort of slider? Large or fine mesh? Is it the factory slider for you canopy?

Yes, it hapens in 5, 6 seconds delay like the picture and even in Norway, 25 seconds at terminal speed.
Sometimes when I´m flying the canopy finally comes down pretty smoth but sometimes not.
Brakes are set up as standars of Assylum.

The Canopy is an ACE, slider is fine mesh, and all is from the factory.
I bought it all the system together, cntainer, canopy, slider, pilochutes etc.

what is your wingloading?

perhaps double check that the slider is sized correctly for the canopy - I believe 460 femur'd due to the use of an improperly sized slider.

Happened to me on new black lines on subterminal jumps. Went away as I put more jumps on the canopy. You can always email marty through the asylum website as well.

I´ll check it but I´m 85 kilos with a 260 ace, is pretty correct.

Yes, but is a bit scary. The strange point is that the first 20 jumps didn´t happened, it satrted a few jumps ago, and i never I tooke the slider out.

Hows your line continuity? All lines must be symmetrical, logical and without crossovers.

Lines are perfect, I´ll try with some wax, is the only thing to try now, i guess.

try large mesh slider

Just wondering if you are quick on your toggles, and realease them during the pressurizion? Can explain at least the sub terminal ones.

Another one is if you grabbing/hanging a bit on the riser in the opening.

Do a double check with the factory regarding the measurements of the slider with the size of the canopy.
Go with big mesh. This is BASE.

been using small mesh for 200+ slider up jumps. Blackjack baby.
