well, a friend of mine and fellow skydiver, was killed in a helicopter crash last week in Iraq. he is from kimberly idaho and we had big plans of going to perrine after the deployment to do our first base jump together... now im currently enroute to kimberly for his funeral from Iraq, and would like to make my first jump while in town in his name. im going to be in town from november 17 through the 23rd. if anyone has gear and willing to give some instruction it would mean alot to me. if its just not good weather or what not, i understand. and im not even sure how much spare time i will have. if anyone has any info though please pass it my way. thanks in advance... What is your skydiving experience? Do you have references? If you just show up at the bridge, you might find someone willing to throw you off. That's how I made my first BASE jump.

my skydiving experience... i have approx. 220 jumps, B licsence, coach instructional rating. i accumulated all jumps at skydive hawaii. i would like to start participating in BASE jumping regularly after this deployment. like i said before... my friend matt and i would have liked to do it together, now i have found myself traveling to kimberly idaho for his funeral. being six miles from the bridge it just seems like somthing i should do. i dont just wanna get "thrown off". lol, but instead would like some real training. again i know this is last minute, and im quite sure the weather isnt the best. but if anyone is willing to help it would mean alot!
