there is a guy named shannon who used to work part time as tandem instructor at skydive alaska and alaska sky sports who has a rig and jumps outside a bit. if you want to base go down south for awhile, more options more people to learn from. i lived in ak for 5 years there is a metric shit ton of kickass things to jump but few jumpers and even fewer people to learn from. good luck take care enjoy and make a twin bo jump for me

I'll try and look up Shannon through ak sky sports (only dz up here now). I can't got outside for more than a couple weeks, a couple times a year. If I can't find people that do it up here, I'll wait 'til I move down south.

I can get time off to go through a FJC, but don't see that being enough to make me safe w/ out mentor's/other jumpers up here. Thanks.
