So I came back here to Toledo for work to find this beautiful 300 or so footer demo'd. My buddies say that the news was there and all to watch it go over.

Damn. We've got to get a line on these things and offer up a few thousand to buy them before they junk them for scrap.

Crater nate will take ownership of it if someone will offer up the land. Oh, land and the crane rental for taking down and up. Maybe a local crane company would donate a big boom for the free advertising...

I dont think there was a building. Cant remember, but nothing that wouldnt fit in a few 40 yard boxes or quads.

we found an abondoned ATT tower, 300 feet tall. The owner wanted $300000 for the building and the land, not the tower. The building was designed to be nearly impervious to thermonuclear blasts. It was amazing. Imagine if David Koresh was in there. They'd never be able to get him out. I don't even know how they could knock the building down.

I found an abandoned 350 ft ATT tower, contacted the tower company, and got a quote of 30K for the tower and 1 acre of land. I tried to get the land around the tower as well, but apparently someone else bought it to build a house on :(

Was it Skeet Shooter? I hope not. If it was, you got one up on me that I can never get back. I do have room for a tower. I dont need the crane tho. Ill carry that thing up piece by piece! Lust hope someone labeled what goes where. I suck at erector sets! A to A. B to B. Shit, what comes after Z to Z? Haha.

Update: Found out that the company took that tower down in trade for the scrap. we estimate they maybe had 20 ton of steel @ $250 a ton. We probably could have offered $4000 and they would have taken it. Now to take it down for re-use....

Was it one of the American Tower repeater style freestanders that we all love for the big ass platforms on top??
