a man called the Texas Blue Bandit used glass handling suction cups to climb a building 930 feet tall in Houston back in the 1980s. He did it twice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3_cZm-n-gU

The cops kept removing windows to get him and he just kept going around them. Near the top, all the cops were looking down smiling and holding a sign that said "you are guilty of trespassing." He looked at them, pulled out a 3/4 inch wooden board, shoved it in the gap between the floors, climbed up on it, putt on his rig, looked back and the cops and gave them the finger. The cops thought they were going to arrest him at the top. He jumped, his platform broke, and then he swam in the air for a little bit and then opened fine. He tried to land on a parking garage but he overshot. Before landing, he flew a long way one direction with the cops chasing him. He then turned around and made the cops chase him at full speed for a while longer, and then turned around again and the cops were all exhausted by this time from running all over the place. They got him and beat the hell out of him at a private location using the so-called "telephone book" treatment.
